Article on ATOM QLD State Conference

Australian Teacher Magazine have published an overview of the recent ATOM QLD State Conference. Read it HERE.

Here’s an excerpt:

“We’ve got a bit of a web survey that members are completing at the moment,” ATOM Queensland president Derek Weeks explains.

“It’s pretty clear what they’re saying; they really enjoyed a partnership that we set up through the National Film and Sound Archive, which had a session that was live at the conference, but was also a live web conference to about 20 schools from across Queensland.

“It was a forum that featured Jill Bilcock, a very well known Australian film editor, and Kriv Stenders, the director of Red Dog … all of the young teachers are enamoured with Kriv because of Red Dog, but also Jill because for her editing on things like Moulin Rouge,” he adds.
